Overlook

This quilt was actually done as a pattern test for a designer. I love the southwest vibe of it but wanted it to done in solids. I took out a book of color combinations and was really attracted to the grey and deep red.  Then it was just adding a few coordinates and I am so pleased with how it turned out!  
 
The backing is a grey grunge textured fabric. All the solids make it great to show off the quilting I did in a gunmetal grey. I call the design  "popcorn" and I loved doing the longarm work.  I think the curves of the quilting offset the geometric design of the pattern.
 
This quilt measures 48" x 80" to make the perfect twin size quilt, lap quilt, or couch quilt.  Take it in the car with you. Take it on a picnic.  Because  all materials--fabric, batting, and thread--are 100% cotton, it can be machine washed/dried. It's been washed with disinfectant detergent once already and is ready to be sent to it's new home.  Will it be yours?
