Grad School

This quilt was actually done as a pattern test for a designer. She named it Grad School because she was in school trying to study but kept working on this pattern (& procrastinating the studying). It's such a fun pattern and these colors reminded me of a dorm room.
 
Other than the floral on the top, the other fabrics are batiks and grunge. I just wanted the textures of those fabrics.  The quilting patter I call "popcorn" and it's so much fun to do.  
 
This is a square quilt finishing at  68" and makes the perfect snuggle lap quilt or couch quilt.  Take it in the car with you. Take it on a picnic.  Because  all materials--fabric, batting, and thread--are 100% cotton, it can be machine washed/dried. It's been washed with disinfectant detergent once already and is ready to be sent to it's new home.  Will it be yours?
